Da Costa is an astonishing magazine, created at the instigation of Isabelle and Patrick Waldberg, which brings together former members of Acéphale such as G. Ambrosino, Jacques Chavy and René Chenon, as well as Marcel Duchamp, Jacques Brunius, Jean Ferry and E.L.T. Mesens, as well as Jean Paulhan, André Breton, Georges Bataille, Robert Lebel and Charles Duits. In Da Costa encyclopédique, the rule of anonymity was a principle (cf. the rebus vignette on the cover: donkey at the nest-mast): no article was signed. In the next two issues, the rule of anonymity was lifted, and other contributors included Maurice Baskine, Marcel Duchamp, Henri Pastoureau, Pierre Mabille, Marcel Jean...
