I'm sorry I couldn't find the time to go and see you, and to take you to my framer. His work isn't finished yet, and won't be until Friday evening. I have therefore been unable to pay him, as his account has not yet been settled. If, in due course, you would like to have the framed drawings taken, here is a note for him. But you will have to pay for the framing, for which I apologize, and for which I will reimburse you if there is no sale at La Hune. Yours sincerely, HM." "November 14, 1947. Dear Sir, would you hand over, as agreed, my watercolors and drawings numbering 13 (or 12 if you have disposed of a drawing) to the bearer of Monsieur Bertelé (Éditions du Point du Jour). Thank you, Henri Michaux."
